Viking Wind has begun the new year 2018 by installing a new wind turbine in Italy. The new turbine is situated in Potenza in the south region of Basilicata.

The turbine is of the type VS 19.9 with a big rotor, which has a range of 145 square meters. This turbine blade size is ideal for low-wind areas.

The turbine will generate enough electricity to power approximately 15 Italian smalls on average each year.
