Viking Wind - a company with a strong social commitment
Viking Wind is not only a company that produces household wind turbines and thus actively contributes to the green transition in Denmark and globally.
At Viking Wind, we also have a strong focus on the social obligations of today's companies.
Therefore, we combine the production of household wind turbines with a strong social responsibility by including employees with disabilities, offering internships to vulnerable groups and supporting young people in education through trainee schemes.
At Viking Wind we value diversity and we have a flat structure with room for diversity.
Employee well-being is a high priority in the company, which is reflected in long-term employment and a work environment characterized by 'freedom with responsibility'.
Viking wind as
hybrid energy solution
Our hybrid demo project in Middelfart consists of the following elements: solar, wind and battery. The system can supply 20 to 25 Danish smalls with green energy.

Small wind turbines delivered with high service throughout the process
As we all know, nothing is stronger than the weakest link. We are committed to accompanying our wind turbines with a comprehensive service that spans the entire process, from the initial non-binding inquiry to the subsequent collaboration once the turbine is in operation.
We strive to provide a personal, transparent and genuine service. Our customers and partners must be met with facts and a willingness to find solutions. And they should feel confident that a deal is a deal.
We have been in the residential wind turbine business for more than 15 years, and we know what we are talking about when it comes to residential wind turbines. At Viking Wind, years of accumulated knowledge from the wind turbine industry are used daily to guide our customers in the best possible way so that we can offer our customers a customised solution tailored to their specific needs.
And being pioneers in setting up turbines in remote and isolated areas where electricity is scarce has never been an obstacle for us - it's just another challenge that we are happy to meet.
We also place the same high demands on the dealers who act as sales channels. They can all provide highly qualified advice, help with calculations, advise on installation, etc.

Small wind turbines for the world
Viking Wind is entering the global market. We have already installed household wind turbines in Argentina, France and Greenland and are negotiating opportunities in other countries.
In 2013, we moved to new and larger premises. At the same time, we expanded our staff with skilled and experienced wind power employees and have also increased our capital base.
In 2016, the company changed its name from HSWind to Viking Wind. This was part of a change of direction and a greater focus on exports. In other words, we have strengthened Viking Wind so that we are ready for growth and development.
