Being certified within a standard is a company's proof that they comply with the requirements set out in a standard.

Denmark is seen as a world leader in wind turbine technology - also when it comes to small wind turbines. And we want to keep it that way.
Viking 25, the first Viking wind turbine, was launched in 2009. Today, it remains the most thoroughly tested small wind turbine in its class - over the longest period.
The Viking VS is a further development and refinement of its thoroughly tested predecessor, the Viking 25. It has been developed based on innovative thinking, thousands of hours of testing and empirical data. This makes the Viking VS strong, aesthetically pleasing, reliable and highly flexible.
The technical quality is in place. With a life expectancy of at least 20 years, high performance, easily accessible service and the use of oversized/flexible components, all parameters seem to be met.

Viking Wind is on its way to the global market. We have already installed small wind turbines in Argentina, France, Norway and Greenland and are negotiating opportunities in other countries.
In 2013 we moved to new and larger premises. At the same time, we expanded our staff with skilled and experienced employees from the wind industry and increased our capital base.
In 2016, the company changed its name from HSWind to Viking Wind. This was part of a rebranding process with a greater focus on exports. In other words, we have strengthened Viking Wind so that we are ready for growth and development.
