In week 7, the first Viking Wind turbine was installed in Norway. It is located at Bryne just outside Stavanger in the middle of the most beautiful Norwegian nature. Our experienced installers completed the job in just one day, after which the turbine was erected and ready for operation.

At the time of writing, Viking Wind is well underway with the installation of a new hybrid wind turbine in Middelfart, Denmark. This is a hybrid demo project consisting of the following elements: Solar, wind and battery. Furthermore, it is an Offgrid project, where the electricity produced from the connected elements is delivered directly to an independent unit and is not connected to the grid. This gives even more freedom in terms of locations where projects like this can be set up.

Right now, Viking Wind is installing a hybrid project in Middelfart, Denmark.it is a hybrid demo project which includes the elements of Solar, Wind, and Battery. The project is an Off-grid project. The energy production from the different elements delivers the energy production directly to an independent unit and is thereby not dependent on being connected to the public grid. That gives many possibilities for the location of projects like this.

Despite the Corona lockdown across Denmark, the Danish Working Environment Authority is still making outreach visits to Danish companies, and on Thursday, January 7, 2021, the Danish Working Environment Authority made an unannounced visit to Viking Wind in Randers.

Viking Wind's turbine, which was installed in Greenland in December 2018, is currently undergoing a service check, and in addition to a general routine service check of the turbine, a "cold climate" test is also being carried out to test the turbine in relation to the extreme weather conditions the Greenlandic turbine can be exposed to, and it looks really good - Viking Wind's turbine performs really well in the harsh Greenlandic climate

On Monday, May 27, 2019, the installation of turbine No. 2 at Vejrø Resort began. The luxury resort, located on the small island of Vejrø north of Lolland, has a mission to be energy self-sufficient and with the second turbine from Viking Wind installed in their existing hybrid solution, they are a good step further towards this goal.

The wind turbine on Vejrø was installed on November 14, 2018. The installation went according to plan and without any major problems.
