This meeting was very positive, we could see that the new Minister for Climate, Energy and Building, Rasmus Helveg Petersen, is still positive towards renewable energy in Denmark and in terms of providing subsidies for this.
We have also arranged a meeting with EU Climate Commissioner Connie Hedegaard on March 20, 2014 to discuss the future initiatives for small wind turbines in Denmark.
The settlement price of electricity sold must be notified in the EU. This work is expected to be completed this summer.
So we strongly encourage you to start the building application process now, as you should expect a processing time of approximately 3 months from the time you submit the initial paperwork to the municipality until your building application is completed. If you have a building permit in place this summer, we can install your turbine before the wind season starts in the fall, so you can get the full benefit of your turbine from day one.
