Meet and greet with Bangladesh's new ambassador to Denmark
12/8/2020
In October 2020, H.E. M. Allama Siddiki was appointed as Bangladesh's new Ambassador to Denmark.
On Thursday, December 3, 2020, Viking Wind participated in a gathering at the Bangladeshi Embassy in Copenhagen to welcome the ambassador to Denmark.
Viking Wind was in good company with representatives from the Danish business community, who were particularly represented within renewable energy, green technology, ICT, dairy sector, green and smart cities, the Confederation of Danish Industry and State of Green.
Ambassador H.E. M. Allama Siddiki gave a presentation on Bangladesh: "On its economic progress and prospects" and welcomed the Danish investors and business partners to take advantage of the opportunities Bangladesh has to offer. The event also provided ample opportunity to network with the other stakeholders from the Danish business community in attendance.
Viking Wind looks forward to a good and lasting cooperation with the newly appointed ambassador and a continued close collaboration with the Danish Embassy in Dhaka, which has so far been an invaluable help in Viking Wind's efforts to penetrate the Bangladeshi market. Which, due to Covid-19 and the travel restrictions this has caused, has been put on standby since the world lockdown in March 2020, postponing a new meeting with Bangladesh indefinitely.
Therefore, the meeting with the new ambassador was also a welcome and very important opportunity to strengthen the already strong ties between Viking Wind and Bangladesh and maintain the connection between the countries.
