On Thursday in week 2, Viking Wind was visited by a journalist from Fritidsmarkedet, who wanted to write an article about our latest portfolio addition, the Windstream5 from German TWE GmbH (Tandem Wind Energy). A turbine that we have been able to offer our Danish customers since fall 2024.
The WS5 turbine is a 5 kilowatt wind turbine that targets consumers with a smaller consumption of around 8-10,000 kilowatts per year than our own Viking VS turbine. This could be a closed farm with a heat pump, for example.
WS5 turbine
In many ways, the WS5 has a lot in common with the Viking VS household wind turbine. For example, it can be raised and lowered during installation and maintenance, ensuring cost-effective maintenance. The components used for the WS5 are designed to give the turbine a life expectancy of 20 years.
Great interest at Agromek
At the recent Agromek 2024 agricultural fair, Viking Wind experienced great interest in both the new WS5, but also our own flagship Viking VS.
The fluctuating energy prices we are experiencing these years, due to wars and climate change, have created an increased focus for the modern consumer to become self-sufficient with renewable and stable energy that is also 100% green.
