Viking Wind has started the new year 2018 with the installation of a new aerogenerator in Italy.
The new turbine is located near Potenza, in southern Basilicata. The turbine is of the type VS 19.9 with a large rotor that has an area of 145 square meters.
This type of turbine blade is ideal for areas with medium/low wind speeds. The aerogenerator will generate enough electricity to power an average of around 15 Italian families every year.
