Viking Wind scores green smiley

14/1/2021

Despite the Corona lockdown across Denmark, the Danish Working Environment Authority is still making outreach visits to Danish companies, and on Thursday, January 7, 2021, the Danish Working Environment Authority made an unannounced visit to Viking Wind in Randers.

After a thorough inspection, the Danish Working Environment Authority awarded Viking Wind a green smiley. The green smiley is proof that the company has no outstanding issues with the Danish Working Environment Authority. A company can only be awarded a green smiley if it has undergone an inspection of its essential working environment (a so-called basic inspection).

The company receives a green smiley if the Danish Working Environment Authority has found:

  • that the company does not violate health and safety regulations, or
  • that the company has only received decisions on formal violations and has corrected the conditions, and the associated yellow smiley is turned off.
    - Source: Arbejdstilsynet

Viking Wind passed the inspection without any remarks of any kind.

The green smiley is awarded to the company for a period of three years, after which the Danish Working Environment Authority must visit the company again and carry out a new basic inspection.
