Wind energy brings benefits to rural properties

2/10/2014

If you have a property in the countryside with little land around it, you can get a lot out of investing green in wind energy. HS Wind has already installed 47 small wind turbines in Denmark, and there is widespread satisfaction among new wind turbine owners.

There are three good reasons to invest in a small wind turbine:

Firstly, it's a good investment. A wind turbine produces electricity around the clock, all year round (when the wind blows, which it almost always does in Denmark), and can provide the owner with cheap energy for heating.

Secondly, the small wind turbine makes its owner independent of external energy supplies. It generates electricity as long as the wind blows, regardless of what else is happening in the world. And the fluctuations in energy prices are much less significant.

Thirdly, it's good for the environment - both local and global. A small wind turbine can provide energy to heat your house and barn, replacing fossil fuels. The green conscience is important to many.

"We have only good experiences with the turbines we have already installed in Denmark," says Ulrich Høgenhaven, CEO of HS Wind. "Everyone is welcome to contact one of our local dealers, who will be happy to put you in touch with some of the turbine owners who can talk about their own experiences with small wind turbines," he concludes.

HS Wind - headquartered in Randers, Denmark - is a pioneer in the development, production and installation of 25 kW small wind turbines. The company is also exhibiting at AGROMEK, stand A4198.
